Good service, however I wouldn’t recommend this salon for people with thick hair. I asked for my hair to be thinned out and layered. At other salons they always ask me around half way through if it is thinned out or layered enough. At this salon, they just told me after my appt was completed at 5.30pm that it was done, and it looked almost the same as when I entered. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay any longer as it was late and they were closing. The demographic there on that day was all Caucasian / people who were more after styling and colouring. I wouldn’t recommend if you have thick hair and want to focus more on the hair itself rather than the look of it if that makes sense. I paid $140 all up, a little expensive just for a trim, layered and thinning (I usually pay $100), but the head massage was nice and service was good. This place is just not for my thick hair.

Giulia is an absolute colour wizard. The whole team is warm, knowledgeable and genuinely lovely. The head massage alone is worth the visit. The new salon is beautiful. Relaxed, welcoming and such a treat.

I have been coming to this salon for over 15 years and they have a new online booking process which would charge me $6.23 just for taking my booking on a $400 visit. I phoned the salon and said I am not paying just to make an appointment (happy to give them my card details direct if they are worried I will cancel without notice). Reception said OK and she would take the booking direct. Got home after the visit and looked at my credit card charge and the fee was added to my bill anyway. Went back to the salon today and was told the ‘system’ adds the charge automatically and there was nothing she could do and I should talk to the owner. Well Luke here is my feedback - I have stayed loyal to your salon when your hairdressers come and go but you are stealing from me by adding a charge for a service not provided. It is the principle involved. I love Pina but I am not happy with the treatment by your reception or your new approach to charge everyone a booking fee (on a sliding scale linked to the total cost of the visit - seriously) even when the booking was not done online.

I came in today with a fairly difficult request. I knew since box dyeing my hair, options would be limited. Michelle took me through what she could achieve and how based off of my reference photo. She listened to my needs, wants and explained everything clearly.
I am incredibly happy with the results. We did compromise and it ended up better than I thought!
(I would definitely book a 15 minute consult before the appointment if you have hair previously dyed/ a special request)
Afterwards I had my hair blow dried and styled with soft curls by the gorgeous Brooklyn. She only amplified my experience.
Michelle and Brooklyn were amazing and will definitely be returning to book with them 🧡

Absolutely loved my experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Lauren really took the time to listen to what I wanted and absolutely delivered - my curls turned out even better than I imagined. My hair looks and feels amazing!!

I always go to Chatswood Chase tribe salon. My favourite stylist is Misha, she always attentive about what you want and I always walk out of here with my hair looking good. I enjoy the head massage and the nice tea. It is worth every cent for the experience.
